Financial Decision-Making Webinars for 2025
We've spent years watching people make the same mistakes with their money. Not because they're careless, but because nobody ever walked them through the real considerations. Our webinar series strips away the jargon and gets into what actually matters when you're facing financial choices.
Upcoming Sessions Through Mid-2025
We run these sessions monthly because financial markets change, regulations shift, and what worked last quarter might not work next. Each session covers current developments and practical approaches you can use right away.
Portfolio Diversification in Uncertain Markets
Interest rates are still bouncing around, and everyone's asking the same question: where should I actually put my money? We'll walk through real portfolio examples and discuss asset allocation strategies that make sense right now.
Tax Planning Before End of Financial Year
Australian tax deadlines don't wait for anyone. This session covers legitimate strategies to minimize your tax burden before June 30th. Bring your questions because everyone's situation is different.
Superannuation Changes and Your Future
New regulations came into effect this year, and they'll impact how you plan for retirement. We'll break down what changed, who's affected, and what you should consider adjusting in your super strategy.
Investment Property in Today's Market
Property prices have been unpredictable lately. Is now the time to buy, sell, or hold? We'll look at current market data from Australian cities and discuss what factors should influence your property investment decisions.
Risk Management for Business Owners
Running a business in Australia means juggling multiple financial obligations. This session covers insurance considerations, cash flow management, and protecting your personal assets when business gets challenging.
Estate Planning Fundamentals
Nobody wants to think about this stuff, but putting it off creates problems for the people you care about. We'll cover wills, trusts, and power of attorney in plain language that actually makes sense.
Tamsin Ljungberg
Lead Financial Educator
Who Leads These Sessions
Tamsin's been working in financial education for twelve years, mostly helping people understand decisions they're about to make. She started in corporate finance but got tired of watching clients nod along without really understanding what they were signing up for.
These days she focuses on breaking down complex financial concepts into conversations that actually stick. Her approach is straightforward: if you can't explain something clearly, you probably don't understand it well enough yourself.
She's worked with everyone from university students managing their first salary to business owners planning succession strategies. The common thread? People appreciate honesty about what's realistic and what's just wishful thinking.
Between webinars, Tamsin writes for several Australian finance publications and occasionally appears on podcasts when someone needs an expert who won't resort to buzzwords. She lives in West Hobart with two cats who remain thoroughly unimpressed by financial markets.
How Our Webinars Actually Work
We've tested different formats over the years. Some worked, others didn't. What you get now is the result of actually listening to what participants found useful versus what sounded good in theory.
Live Sessions with Real Questions
Every webinar includes at least twenty minutes for questions. Not pre-screened, not filtered for convenience. You ask what you need to know, and we answer honestly. Sometimes that means admitting something depends on your specific situation.
Case Study Walkthroughs
We use real scenarios from our consulting work (with details changed for privacy). You'll see how different decisions play out across various financial situations. It's easier to understand principles when you can see them applied to actual circumstances.
Follow-Up Resources
After each session, you get the presentation slides, a summary document, and links to relevant Australian government resources. Everything we reference is documented so you can review it later when you're actually making decisions.
Join Our Next Session
Registration opens six weeks before each webinar. Sessions typically fill up about two weeks ahead, so earlier is better if you want to secure a spot. We cap attendance at 150 people because anything larger makes the Q&A portion unmanageable.
No registration fees, no hidden costs. Just show up ready to learn and ask questions. We'll send reminders the week before and include the connection link.
